  1. OPENING PARAGRAPH 4-6 sentences -Starts with an interesting idea that relates to us all (and your topic) Get us INTO your paper. As the thesis nears, you get specific THREE BODY PARAGRAPHS 9-11 sentences EACH Each body paragraph is a reason or support for thesis. Each paragraph goes into detail about that idea (and has three more reasons of proof within the paragraph) CONCLUDING PARAGRAPH 6-8 Sentences Restate the thesis and COLLECT the ideas and facts and review all of them. Try to add another that might not be mentioned in the essay and conclude with a WOW!
