  2. What is Ministry?

  3. I. Inside is more important than outside • 1In the year that King Uzziah died, I saw the Lord seated on a throne, high and exalted, and the train of his robe filled the temple. 2Above him were seraphs, each with six wings: With two wings they covered their faces, with two they covered their feet, and with two they were flying. 3And they were calling to one another: "Holy, holy, holy is the LORD Almighty; the whole earth is full of his glory." 4At the sound of their voices the doorposts and thresholds shook and the temple was filled with smoke. (Isa 6:1-4)

  4. 撒拉弗 =Seraph=@r'f' • Fire burning, the burning one 火焰燃燒者. • You are either a cell group member, or a cell group leader.

God uses only the sanctified talents. • We honor talents, God honors sanctified talents. • Moses-- "O Lord, I have never been eloquent, neither in the past nor since you have spoken to your servant. I am slow of speech and tongue." (Exod 4:10) • Elijah-- "Take my life; I am no better than my ancestors." (1King 19:4)

  6. 5"Woe to me!" I cried. "I am ruined! For I am a man of unclean lips, and I live among a people of unclean lips, and my eyes have seen the King, the LORD Almighty." 6Then one of the seraphs flew to me with a live coal in his hand, which he had taken with tongs from the altar. 7With it he touched my mouth and said, "See, this has touched your lips; your guilt is taken away and your sin atoned for." (Isa 6:5-7)

  7. II. God uses only the sanctified talents. • A. Sanctifying means using God’s way to reach the God desired purpose. • B. We are no difference from the ones we minister. • "I am ruined! For I am a man of unclean lips, and I live among a people of unclean lips, and my eyes have seen the King, the LORD Almighty.“(Isa 6:5)

  8. III. Timing is in God’s hand, not in my hand. • 8Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, "Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?" And I said, "Here am I. Send me!" 9He said, "Go and tell this people: "'Be ever hearing, but never understanding; be ever seeing, but never perceiving.' 10Make the heart of this people calloused; make their ears dull and close their eyes. Otherwise they might see with their eyes, hear with their ears, understand with their hearts, and turn and be healed.“

  9. III. Timing is in God’s hand, not in my hand. • 11Then I said, "For how long, O Lord?" And he answered: "Until the cities lie ruined and without inhabitant, until the houses are left deserted and the fields ruined and ravaged, 12until the LORD has sent everyone far away and the land is utterly forsaken. 13And though a tenth remains in the land, it will again be laid waste. But as the terebinth and oak leave stumps when they are cut down, so the holy seed will be the stump in the land." (Isa 6:8-13)

  10. III. Timing is in God’s hand, not in my hand. • A. Allow for God’s timing. • B. Be faithful to God.

  11. He raises me up • When I am down and, oh my soul, so weary;When troubles come and my heart burdened be;Then, I am still and wait here in the silence,Until you come and sit awhile with me.You raise me up, so I can stand on mountains;You raise me up, to walk on stormy seas;I am strong, when I am on your shoulders;You raise me up... To more than I can be.

  12. He raises me up • 每當我心情低落,我的靈魂如此疲憊每當麻煩接踵而來,我的內心苦不堪言 • 然後,我會在這裡靜靜的等待直到你出現陪我坐一會兒 • 有你的鼓勵,所以我能攀上高山有你的鼓勵,所以我能橫渡狂風暴雨的大海 • 當我倚靠著你時，我是如此堅強, 因為你的鼓舞.讓我超越了自己.

  13. 祢扶持我 • 當我靈魂感到疲倦沮喪當我的心背負困難重擔我會在安穩中靜靜等候等祢到來陪伴在我身旁祢扶持我站上那群巒山崗祢扶持我飛越狂風巨浪在祢肩上使我能得力堅強祢扶持我讓我超越自己
