  2. Purpose of the ECS • Reduce energy costs. • Enable consumers to monitor the energy that is being used in a home or business.

  3. Project Milestones • Current Transformer Output Sept-12-07 • Analog to Digital Sept-13-07 • Microcontroller Programming and Data Collection Begin Sept-14-07 • User Interface Programming Begin Sept-14-07

  4. Completed Tasks • Designed circuit for use with the current transformer and successfully scaled the output to the desired ranged • Obtained Dragon12 development board • Configured ADC • Serial Communication Interface programming • Incremental progress on database development

  6. Upcoming Tasks • Complete microprocessor programming • Retrieve data from the serial interface and place it in the database • Develop the GUI
