Jiah Khan was born on February 20 1988, born as Nafisa Khan, was an American born British Indian actress who performed in Bollywood films. She made her film debut in the 2007 film Ram Gopal Verma's Nishabd for which she was nominated for Filmfare Best Female Debut Award. She was later noted for portraying modern, sovereign women in Ghajini which was the highest-grossing Bollywood films of 2008. Her performance in the latter earned her common critical appreciation. She last appeared in Sajid Khan's directional film Housefull which was her second highest-grossing Bollywood films of 2010.

Jiah Khan's Suicide On 3 June 2013, Jiah Khan one of the latest bollywood models was found dead in her apartment in her residence in the Sagar Sangeet building in Juhu, Mumbai after hanging herself.
Jiah, the new fashion trends setter, was dating Aditya Pancholi's son Sooraj. She was said to be under dejection after coming to know of Suraj's new love interest, who supplied jewelry to the Pancholis. Sooraj and Jiah spoke over telephone a number of times before her death, with the last call being made at 22.53 PM which lasted for two minutes. Soon thereafter, Jiah hanged herself. Post-mortem examination discovered the incident took place between 11 pm and 11.30 pm, sources said.
"Jiah was said to be very possessive about Suraj. Last night they exchanged text messages on their cell phones. Suraj also sent her a bouquet which she did not take," they said.

In the letter Jiah blames Sooraj for betraying her trust and ending her life. The letter also discloses that Jiah was pregnant and was forced to abort her child. The copy of the letter - which was revealed by Jiah's sister a few days after her suicide from her wallet box while she was searching for some poems written by the actress to be read out at her prayer meeting. The 25-year-old beauty committed suicide on June 3 by hanging herself at her Juhu residence in Mumbai.

Mr Pancholi, who is 21, was arrested by the Mumbai police and charged with abetting the suicide of Ms Khan, who was 25, after a letter was found in her room by her family. The letter is not addressed to anyone but seems to refer to a romantic relationship. "If you're reading this I might have already left or about to leave. I am broken inside," she wrote. In court, Mr Pancholi's lawyer claimed that the letter found after Ms Khan's death does not name his client.

With each passing day, Jiah Khan’s suicide case perceives major twists and turns, some shocking ones too. In an exclusive interview to a tabloid, Jiah’s mother said, “He (Aditya Pancholi) told Salman Khan about it (Jiah-Suraj affair), who tried to convince Suraj and take him out of it. But Suraj told him (Salman) that he loved Jiah Khan and Salman was then cool about it.” She added, “It’s a misconception that Aditya and I were friends. If he was my friend, things would have been cordial and this incident wouldn’t have happened. But yeah, I know he threw a fit when he came to know about his son’s connection with my daughter.”
Five love letters found! After Jiah Khan’s six-page letter that described the horrid tale of her love life with Sooraj Pancholi, five more letters are said to have been found. According to the prosecution, the new letters were exchanged between Jiah and Sooraj and need to be carefully examined and verified for their contents. Reports say the content of the new letters too has Jiah Khan reproachful Sooraj of physical abuse and emotional indifference.
Meanwhile, Rabiya Khan has also told the police that Jiah and Sooraj were in a “live-in relationship” for nearly a year. Also, the police have found some medical reports from Jiah’s place. The police are now verifying all the documents. According to an officer, the police are not leaving any stone unturned to get to the bottom of the case. They are examining the words like rape, assault, torture, cheating and abortion mentioned in Jiah’s suicide note. “We are checking with the hospital where she had taken medical treatment and trying to find out about her abortion,” said the officer!!
