  1. ANGELS I. Origin of Angels:They are Created Beings Job 38:4-7 4. Where wast thou when I laid the foundations of the earth? declare, if thou hast understanding. 5. Who hath laid the measures thereof, if thou knowest? or who hath stretched the line upon it? 6. Whereupon are the foundations thereof fastened? or who laid the corner stone thereof; 7. When the morning stars sang together, and all the sons ofGod shouted for joy? Neh.9:6. Thou, even thou, art LORD alone; thou hast made heaven, the heaven of heavens, with all their host, the earth, and all things that are therein, the seas, and all that is therein, and thou preservest them all; and the host of heaven worshippeth thee.

  2. ANGELS I. Origin of Angels: They are Created Beings • PSALM 148 • Praise ye the LORD. Praise ye the LORD from the heavens: praise him in the heights. • 2. Praise ye him, all his angels: praise ye him, all his hosts. • 3. Praise ye him, sun and moon: praise him, all ye stars of light. • 4.Praise him, ye heavens of heavens, and ye waters that be above the heavens. • 5. Let them praise the name of the LORD: for he commanded, and they were created.

  3. ANGELS I. Origin of Angels: They are Created Beings (Col.1:15-17)>were created by Christ the creative agent of the Godhead! 15. Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature: 16. For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: 17. And he is before all things, and by him all things consist. *Angels are not glorified human beings! (Lk.20:34-36) 34. And Jesus answering said unto them, The children of this world marry, and are given in marriage: 35. But they which shall be accounted worthy to obtain that world, and the resurrection from the dead, neither marry, nor are given in marriage: 36. Neither can they die any more: for they are equal unto the angels; and are the children of God, being the children of the resurrection.

  4. ANGELS I. Origin of Angels: They are Created Beings *Angels are not glorified human beings! (Lk.20:34-36) *Angels have no sex distinction (Mt.22:29-30) *Angels are free moral agents and they were placed under law (Ps.103:20-21) and some had disobeyed that law (2Pet.2:4 & Jude 6) 29. Jesus answered and said unto them, Ye do err, not knowing the scriptures, nor the power of God. 30. For in the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are as the angels of God in heaven. PSALM 103 20. Bless the LORD, ye his angels, that excel in strength, that do his commandments, hearkening unto the voice of his word. 21. Bless ye the LORD, all ye his hosts; ye ministers of his, that do his pleasure. Jude 6 And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day. 2Pet.2:4 4. For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast them down to hell, and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment;

  5. ANGELS I. Origin of Angels: They are Created Beings *Angels are not glorified human beings! (Lk.20:34-36) *Angels have no sex distinction (Mt.22:29-30) *Angels are free moral agents and they were placed under law (Ps.103:20-21) and some had disobeyed that law (2Pet.2:4 & Jude 6) *Angels are of a higher order than man is but are of a lower order than God, Christ, H.S. (Heb.2:7) (1:14) Heb.2:7 Thou madest him a little lower than the angels; thou crownedst him with glory and honour, and didst set him over the works of thy hands: Heb. 1:14 Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation?

Unto whom it was revealed, that not unto themselves, but unto us they did minister the things, which are now reported unto you by them that have preached the gospel unto you with the Holy Ghost sent down from heaven; which things the angels desire to look into.

And whiles I was speaking, and praying, and confessing my sin and the sin of my people Israel, and presenting my supplication before the LORD my God for the holy mountain of my God; 21.Yea, whiles I was speaking in prayer, even the man Gabriel, whom I had seen in the vision at the beginning, being caused to fly swiftly, touched me about the time of the evening oblation. 22.   17. ANGELS IV. What is the Mission of Angels: Ministers of God’s providence Ps.34:7 ”the angel of the Lord encampeth round about them that fear Him, and delivereth them” Heb.1:14 “are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation” Mt.18:10 “Take heed that ye despise not one of these little ones; for I say unto you, That in heaven their angels do always behold the face of my Father which is in heaven” Lk.16:22 “And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham's bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried;

What is the Mission of Angels: Ministers of God’s providence Heb.1:6 “And again, when he bringeth in the firstbegotten into the world, he saith, And let all the angels of God worship him” Rev.22:8-9 Not To Be Worshipped! And I John saw these things, and heard them. And when I had heard and seen, I fell down to worship before the feet of the angel which shewed me these things. Then saith he unto me, See thou do it not: for I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren the prophets, and of them which keep the sayings of this book: worship God.

  19. ANGELS I. Origin of Angels: They are Created Beings II. What is the State or form of angels: They are invisible to the unaided eye, and are not made of any material substance! III. The Attributes of Angels: IV. What is the Mission of Angels: Ministers of God’s providence V. What is the Destiny of Angels?

  20. ANGELS *We already noticed the destiny of the bad angels those who disobey God! 2Peter 2:4 For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast them down to hell, and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment; Jude 6 And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day

  21. ANGELS V. What is the Destiny of Angels? *Primarily the good ones will be the companions of the redeemed in the new heavens and new earth (Lk.20:34-36) *When the Lord returns He will be accompanied with voice of archangel and with the angels of his power (1Thess.4:16; 2Thess.1:7-9) 7. And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels, 8. In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ: 9. Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power; 16. For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:

  22. ANGELS V. What is the Destiny of Angels? *Primarily the good ones will be the companions of the redeemed in the new heavens and new earth (Lk.20:34-36) *When the Lord returns He will be accompanied with voice of archangel and with the angels of his power (1Thess.4:16; 2Thess.1:7-9) . *They will be the reapers at the judgment! Lk.12:8-9 Also I say unto you, Whosoever shall confess me before men, him shall the Son of man also confess before the angels of God: But he that denieth me before men shall be denied before the angels of God. Mt.13:41-42 The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity; And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth. Mt.13:49-50 So shall it be at the end of the world: the angels shall come forth, and sever the wicked from among the just, And shall cast them into the furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.

  23. Lk.15:10 Likewise, I say unto you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repenteth. In Christ = SAVED Baptized (Gal.3:27) Confess (Rom.10:10) Repent (Lk.13:3) Believe (Jn.8:24) Hear (Rom.10:17)
