  1. Trial of Duty By ValerieRose The first quest for the Knight classes start at Giran, at the Warrior Guild, by talking to Grand Master Hannavalt. During the quest, you'll get to meet other Knights that will give you several different tasks. The quest itself isn't very hard and you can solo it just fine at lvl 35. The first knight that you'll get to visit is Sir Aron Tanford. Sir Aron Tanford can be found somewhere close to the Wastelands, around the Ol Mahum Checkpoint part on the map. In fact, the best way to reach him is to port to the Wastelands, and then run west from the port point until you reach a small house to your left, down the road towards Hive Fortress. Sir Aron Tanford will tell you the story of Sir Herod, who became an Undead because of his betrayal. He'll also hand you a sword, called Old Knight's Sword (which is No Grade, if you want to bring some shots), and tell you to kill Sir Herod with that sword.

  2. Sir Herod is a Quest Monster that will spawn upon killing the Skeletons around the Wastelands. Skeleton Raiders and Marauders will be ok for the quest, so just kill some of them until Sir Herod spawns. It shouldn't take long. You can use your own weapon to attack Sir Herod, but the last hit MUST be made with the No Grade sword given to you by Sir Herod. So be careful with that, or you will have to make Sir Herod spawn again. He'll give you the quest item, provided you give the last hit with the Quest sword. And once he does, you should go back to Sir Aron Tanford, who will then send you to Dion, to talk to Sir Kiel Nighthawk.

  3. Sir Kiel Nighthawk can be found at the Dark Elven Guild in Dion. He'll explain about the sense of Justice that is part of being a Knight, and tell you the tale of Sir Talianus. Of course, it's up to you to make justice. He will require you to travel to the Execution Grounds and hunt Strains and Ghouls in order to retrieve the missing pieces of Sir Talianus' report. Be careful while on the Execution Grounds, in most servers it is a known griefer's spot. Just make sure you have the Blessing of Protection. Besides that, it shouldn't be too hard. The mobs are easy to kill and pose no threat. There's no port spot to the Execution Grounds, so you must run there (the quickest way to go there would be to port, through the Dawn/Dusk Priest and using Ancient Adena, to the Heretics' Catacomb). The quest rate is good, 100% drop rate.

  4. Once you retrieve all the report pieces, it's time to go back to Sir Kiel. He will hand you a quest item called Mirror of Opic and send you back to the Execution Grounds. This time, you need to hunt the Hangman Trees until the Spirit of Sir Talianus spawn. The Hangman Trees are aggro, but they shouldn't pose you any threat. It shouldn't take you long at all to get the NPC to spawn, a couple of trees should do it. Once Sir Talianus spawn, you'll notice he's not a Quest Monster, he's an NPC. So all you need to do is talk to him. He won't confess much to you, but at least he will give you the quest item. And then, it's back to Sir Kiel again. Sir Kiel will send you to Hunter's Village to "Sir" Isael Silvershadow... I think Kiel is a little blind, since Isael's a SHE. But, in any case...

  5. Isael can be found on Hunter's Village's main square, close to the Broadcasting Tower. She will tell you another story about Guards that died fighting Leto Lizardmen, so that should give you a clue on where you need to go. In fact, she will ask you to hunt Leto Lizardmen for 20 militia article pieces. You will notice she doesn't specify one particular type of Leto Lizardman, that means you can hunt any of them. Which makes it easier, since at lvl 35, even though you're a fighter, it can be dangerous to engage into the higher level mobs. I would suggest sticking with Leto Lizardmen, Leto Lizardmen Soldiers and Archers which are the lowest level lizardmen in the area.

  6. Once you get all 20 items, go back to Isael and she will send you to Giran to talk to Father Dustin. Father Dustin is a Priest in Giran's Einhasad Temple. He will tell you the story of Leon Athebald, a promising young Knight who met his fate by the hands of Breka Orcs. Of course, you will need to hunt for Leon's remains (Note that there's a typo on the Quest text. Einhasad's name is mistyped) The monsters you need are Breka Orc Overlords, and they can be found at Breka's Stronghold, which is a direct port from Giran. It's a 100% drop rate, so you won't be spending much time there at all. Once you get all four parts, return to Dustin, and he will send you all the way to Talking Island (good things ports are free now, isn't it?) to deliver them to Leon's uncle, who happens to be Sir Colin Windawood.

  7. Sir Colin Windawood can be found at the Obelisk of Victory (which is also a direct port from the Gatekeeper). He'll thank you for the effort and send you back to Dustin in Giran. Good thing though, that's the last part of the quest and you don't have to port anywhere anymore. Father Dustin will thank you in the name of the Church of Einhasad, and send you back to Hannavalt with his recommendation letter. And Hannavalt will finally give you the Mark of Duty, plus the CT2 enhanced rewards that are: 69484 adena, 381288 exp and 24729 SP. Congratulations!
