Invention: Colt Revolver • Colt Revolver was obtained by Sam Colt from the U.S. Army • Colt Revolver shoots 6 more bullets than other sidearm or pistols. • Colt Revolver was so famous more people created the model by modifying it. • Colt Revolver is mostly used by Texas Rangers • The most famous revolver is the 44 magnum.

Inventor: Samuel Colt • Sam Colt was born in July 19 1814. • He set up a shop in 1837 in Paterson, New Jersey. • At age of 22, Colt obtained a U.S. patent for Colt Revolver. • The industrial Colt had also created several other revolvers including belt, pocket, and holster revolvers. • In 1846, The Mexican War began and the U.S. War Department came to Colt for help.
