  4. CBERS 04 cameras

  5. CBERS 04 archives and data distribution

  6. CBERS 04 in support of CEOS and GEO • Extending acquisitions to the Congo basin in support of SDCG/GFOI • CRESDA is performing real time acquisitions in Hartebeeshoeck (South Africa) • CBERS 04 OBDR capacity is equally shared by INPE and CRESDA • Each party has 7.5 minutes of recording time per day • Acquisitions over eastern central Africa has required the design of new operational procedures • New operational procedures are being used to avoid conflicts with real time acquisitions in Hartebeeshoeck (South Africa) • New operational procedures should also not interfere with real time acquisitions in Libreville (Gabon) in the near future

  7. CBERS 04A – equipment reuse Sun synchronous orbit Altitude = 628 km Inclination = 97.89º Revisiting rate = 31 days Descending node at 10h30 local time Launch: May 2019
