  3. I. Jesus - performed many Miracles • Variety of His Miracles • Healed disease ~ leprosy, palsy • Opened eyes of blind ~ Mt. 9:27-31 • Unstopped ears of deaf ~ hear / talk • Unloosed the dumb tongues - speak • Caused the lame to walk – Mt. 15:30-31

  4. I. Jesus - performed many Miracles • Fed the hungry ~ 5,000 men • Calmed the storm ~ rebuked the winds • Cast out devils ~ unclean spirits • Healed withered hands ~ whole • Caused the stooped to stand erect • Raised the Dead ~ Jn. 11:43-44

  6. I. Jesus - performed many Miracles If Christ did not perform miracles: His Character and integrity destroyed He is a liar New Testament discredited Cannot accept the teachings of Jesus

To prove his Deity 30 And many other signs truly did Jesus in the presence of his disciples, which are not written in this book: 31 But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name. John 20:30-31

  15. Miracles of Jesus We cannot perform miracles today 1 Cor. 13:8 “ceased” We have the Bible – complete word of God We believe in Christ because of his Miracles which are recorded in the New Testament
