  2. PREFACE Irish love stories. Even nowadays the Irish tell stories from druid times and first celtic poets. Stories are about prechristian Irish heroes and heroines. A lot of legends refer to Cuchulainna, who defended Ulster himself. Other stories origin from times of Cormac Mac Art King. Famous writers like:Willam Butter and James Joyce wrote about legendary heroes too. Parents tell children legends a obout heroes like: Mac Cool and Saint Finnabar, who probably killed the last dragon in Ireland.

  3. FREE TIME Youcansee women in pubs too,but there are still more men than women. In pubs people play live music. There is ”craic”. This is a special way of spending free time. During ”craic” the Irish play and listen to music, drink alcohol and flirt each other. Other very popular forms of spending free time are: PLAYING CHESS BINGO BRIDGE
