  2. Basics on Cornell notes • Start by putting your heading and the topic on your paper • Make sure you have a 2 inch margin on the left • You will put your questions on the left side • Put the information from the slides on the right • Write your summary before class is over • ANY QUESTIONS???

  3. What’s conjugation? • A new I-pod application • The latest craze at Burger King’s • Adding an ending to the stem of the verb And the answer is… SSSSShhhhh!

  4. La respuestaes: • Answer C: conjugating is the process of putting an ending to the stem of the verb.

  5. There are 3 types of verbs: • AR, ER and IR ACTIVITY: • Can we think of some AR verbs from our current unit? • Word #1: You do it at night in front of the mirror. • Word #2: You do it at church each Sunday.

  6. Where is the stem of my verb? • It is whatever comes before the AR • Example #1: nadar (to swim) • Stem: nad • Example #2: deber (should) • Stem: deb • Example #3: recibir(to receive) • Stem: recib
