  16. Securing the nation from falling into the wrong hands is daunting. Transportation of gasoline and propane tankers demand a fleet of over 85,000 trucks and the police and other law enforcement agencies cannot guarantee the security of the nation’s transportation system. Awareness is your best defense • A driver needs to inspect his /her truck & trailer regularly to ensure it has not been tampered with. • Report to dispatch on suspicious loaded trailers (with or without hazardous materials) of any broken seals, missing cargo and any trailer doors found open that should have been closed.
