  19. Intended Learning Outcomes (ILOs ) OF THE COURSE • The knowledge, understanding and skills which the faculty intends to have been gained by the students completing the course.

  20. Intended Learning Outcomes (ILOs ) • The development of clear, concise, and measurable learning objectives is a critical step in planning your course • ILOs are statements that describe what the students will know and be able to do after completing your course.

  21. Intended Learning Outcomes (ILOs ) • Your students are very interested in the objectives—they want to know what they are going to learn. • Clear objectives help you determine the course content, decide how you will teach the course, and identify how students’ learning Should be assessed.

  22. ILOs Content ( What is taught) Methods (how it is taught) Assessment (how students’ achievement is assessed)

  23. Intended learning outcomes

  24. 2- Intended Learning Outcomes from the Course:a- Knowledge and understanding: The main information to be gained and the concepts that should be understood from the course.

  25. 2- Intended Learning Outcomes from the Course: b- Intellectual skills: What the course will assist in developing in the students such as: analysis, capability for creative thinking, problem identification and solving, ..….etc.
