ECIP Process Contract Administration Binder • Blue Sheet #3 Project Leader review for Constructability/Schedule SWECE • Review • Coordinate with DNR Liaison • Send SWECE Review comments to PL for comment If PL has comments, return to SWECE to include • SWECE will send signed ECIP review to PL • Review and Approve Amendments

ECIP Process • Project Leader • Record Dates Received in FITS • Review ECIP-(See ECIP Review comments) • Review SWECE Comments • Provide comments to SWECE • Send signed ECIP Review form to contractor/SWECE/PM • Return an approved Signed and Dated Copy to the SWECE and Construction File • Ensure Compliance Throughout Construction • Request Amendments when Appropriate

  4. Construction Role of SWECE • ECIP Review • Attend Pre-Construction Meeting • Provide Guidance • Erosion Control Items • On Dewatering Operations • Perform Site Review

Erosion Control Inspections • Trans 401.10 Inspections • Form: CMM WS1072 • Inspections Required as Follows: • At Least Once a Week • Within 24 Hours of a 0.5 Inch Rain Event • At Each Stage Change or When a New Area is Disturbed • Upon Completion of Permanent Best Management Practices • At the Completion of the Project • Indentify Deficiencies • Reasonable Corrections to Restore, Maintain, or Improve BMP’s • WS1072 is available in 2014 Pantry

  7. Erosion Control Orders • Trans 401.105 Corrective Action • Form CMM WS1074 • Erosion Control Orders Require: • Check the Corrective Action to be Administered • No mobilization payment-E.C. Corrective Action • Mobilization payment-E.C. Mob. • Emergency mobilization payment-E.C. Emergency Mob. • Erosion Control Inspection Form Identifying Deficiencies • Contractor Must be Notified in Writing • Contractor Must Respond within the Time Frame Specified or within 24 Hours • Contractor Must Return the Order Including a Description of the Corrective Actions and Time/Date Completed • Project Leader Approves or Rejects any Completed Corrective Action within 16 hours or by 12 Noon on the Day the 16 Hours Expires, Whichever is Later
