  2. What kind of severe weather are there? • Hurricanes • Tornadoes • Large hail • Damaging winds • Flooding • Tsunamis • Thunder storms

  3. How is severe weather predicted? • Severe weather is predicted when it is likely to happen and SKEW-T can give you a idea of the kind of severe weather that is going to happen. SKEW-T is a thermodynamic diagram that is mostly used in weather and forecasting.

  4. What is severe weather? Severe Weather is any dangerous Meteorological phenomena that Causes damage.

  5. What causes severe weather? • The things that cause severe weather is extreme and intense low pressure systems. • Thunder Storms occur when warm air from below blows creating wind, and an unstable atmosphere
