  3. Personal Characteristics Continued • Personality • The totality of qualities and traits, as of character or behavior, that are particular to a specific person. • Self-esteem • A feeling of self-worth and confidence. It’s how you feel about yourself.

Personal Talents/Abilities • Verbal • Numerical • Clerical • Manual Dexterity • The ability to use your hands skillfully • Mechanical Reasoning • Measures the ability to understand basic mechanical principles of machinery, tools, and motion • Spatial/Visual Acuity • The ability to be able to tell if something is in the correct place, has correct perspective, or is aesthetically pleasing

  8. Homework Write an essay discussing your career of choice (if you have one) or the one you listed on Wednesday’s Bell-Work Assignment. Identify ways that your current self would be a good fit for your career choice. Do this by writing a paragraph for each listed below: Personal Characteristics Interests and Preferences Talents and Abilities Skills and Strengths

Homework Continued All essays must also contain an introduction paragraph, where you introduce your career choice, and a conclusion paragraph determining whether your career choice is still a good fit after a this personal assessment. This essay must be submitted by the end of day Tuesday through Canvas.
