Peter Yealands Story • 1971 get the first marine farming lisience in New Zealand • The mix between his innovative technology and aquaculture in Marlborough • Being the most sustainable wine growing in wine industry with the “can- do” attitude • The unique climate region in Marlborough: three “the” the southernmost, coolest and driest regions

Revenue perspective • New Zealand Winegrower statistic: the value of export to US reach to 381% since 2002, from 48.22 million to 231.92 million in 2011 (Yealand Estate,2012) • Contributed approximated $160 million to New Zealand export earning annually • 3,800 tonnes produced in 2008 reach to 11,000 tonnes in 2012

Social Responsibility • The Yealands Winery is located in the middle of Yealands Estate which bounded approximated 1000 hectares of planted vineyards: the central building with many sub building • Saving 600,000 km in transportation the grapes • Lower return on each litre fixed overhead cost of winery producing the higher volumes in production • Certification CarbonNZero

Statistic • The emission of YEW in 2007: 3016.33 tonnes carbon dipxide equivalents • The sustainable environment business gains $25 credit of each tonnes of CO2e, and vice versa (e g, flight from London to Auckland is 18,340km which equal to 3.32tonned CO2e cost $95.62) • 600,000 km= 108.61 tonnes CO2e with saving $2715 and $75,000 for total emission

Value Creation • Truly holistic approach for whole eco system designed • Criticised on the scale of energy toward the sustainability and the innovative techniques • time consumption not as a piece of fashion standing as unique business • The process of being sustainability was held to enhance the quality of life with bringing the new looks on cost saving as a principal headache for any businesses on the world.
