  2. Hello, and welcome to our training module on ACV&Me. This module will show you how to create your profile, set up the way you want the Aeroplan Miles to accumulate and report your bookings for rewards. The program is fast and easy. Once you start collecting, there is an amazing variety of rewards to claim - almost anything you can think of. And the list grows every day! Imagine the reward you desire, discover it at Aeroplan and then…indulge So let’s get started. Hint: Remember that you can move to the next screen by hitting the continue icon, the space bar, down arrow or page down key. You can also move to a previous screen by using the up arrow or page up key.

  4. What is it? Your passengers earn Aeroplan Miles for traveling with Air Canada Vacations. Now It's your turn to earn Aeroplan Miles With ACV&Me Rewards, travel professionals earn Aeroplan Miles for every passenger they book with Air Canada Vacations. With hundreds of travel and merchandise rewards to choose from, Aeroplan lets travel professionals decide how best to reward themselves.

How Does It Work? • You earn 100 Aeroplan Miles for every passenger booked on an air and hotel and an air and cruise package with Air Canada Vacations. • You earn 50 miles for every passenger booked on land-only, cruise only, air-only or Netair. • You earn an additional 50 miles per booking made online at aircanadavacations.com. • You earn a bonus of 100 Aeroplan Miles as a thank-you for joining for ACV&Me Rewards. • And every month you will see more and more special promotions and opportunities for you to earn even more!

  6. Is Every Booking Eligible? Bookings from our Sun, North American Escapades, and European Escapades product lines, as well as Netair, Group, and Cruise bookings are eligible. Aeroplan Miles are credited after departure and you have up to 6 months following departure to claim them. Cancelled bookings are not eligible.

  7. What Do I Need To Do? It’s Easy! To register for ACV&Me Rewards, log on to www.aircanadavactions.com and enter your Aeroplan number. If you are not yet an Aeroplan member, enroll in Aeroplan right from our website to earn bonus points. You can also register for ACV&Me Rewards using an Aeroplan number provided to you by your Air Canada Vacations Area Sales Manager. Claim each booking through an easy fill-in screen in your profile. Later in this module we will show you step by step the process to get you on your way.

  8. What Is Aeroplan? Aeroplan, Canada’s premier loyalty program is owned by Groupe Aeroplan Inc., a leading international loyalty management corporation. Aeroplan's millions of members earn Aeroplan Miles with it's growing network of over 70 world-class partners, representing more than 150 brands in the financial, retail, and travel sectors. In 2007, almost 2 million rewards were issued to members including more than 1.5 million round-trip flights on Air Canada and Star Alliance carriers which offer travel to approximately 975 destinations worldwide. In addition to flights, members also have access to over 600 exciting specialty, merchandise, hotel, car rental and experiential rewards.   9. So let’s Get Started? • First you need to log on to the www.aircanadavacations.com website. • There are two types of Log-ons. • The Administrator or “Parent” Log-on. • The Agent or “Child” Log-on.

  10. The Administrator or Parent Log-on. The Administrator profile is the main gatekeeper for the agency. Here you can update your agency address, and create, disable, or delete individual agent users. Of course you have all the functionality of the agent profile such as making, retrieving or canceling bookings, final payments, room requests and much more.

The Administrator or Parent Log-on. • From this log-on you can decide how your agency will collect miles. • We have created 3 easy options for you: • Each agent may collect Aeroplan Miles on any Aeroplan number that they wish. • All Miles collected from each booking go towards a single Aeroplan number • entered in this profile. • Neither the Agency nor it's agents will collect Aeroplan Miles. • Later in this session we will show you how to choose these options.

  12. The Agent or Child Log-on. Each agent should have a unique log-on to our website. These are called Agent or “child” log-ons because they fall under the Administrator or “Parent” log-on of the agency. Each booking made under the child log-on is attached to the parent agency. E-docs and invoices will still go to the registered e-doc e-mail address for the agency, and all accounting activity wll go to the IATA or TIDS of the parent Agency, but you will have easier access to your own bookings. All of your information is stored in your uniquely created profile and accessed through your child log-on..

  13. Administrators: Let’s get started. If you are not the Administrator go here. First you need to log on. Hint: You can get more information on profiles in our “Profiles” training module. Your log-on is: Username: Your agency’s e-document delivery e-mail address Password: The password that you selected. Hint: You can change you password as often as you like by contacting sales@vacv.com, and remember that it is case sensitive! Air Canada Vacations has created the initial log-on and profile for you

  14. First Log on. Go to www.aircanadavacations.com Click on the “ Log in” link at the top right hand side of the screen.

  15. First Log-on. Hint: You can go right to this screen at www.aircanadavacations.com/agents Enter your username and password. Then press “Submit”.

  16. The Main Screen. There are 2 Menu options. We are going to focus on the “Agency Account” section in this part of the module. You only see these options under the Administrators or parent log-on. All Users see the “Your Account” options Hint: Child profiles are created from the “Agents” link, and we show you how in our Profiles training module. Select the “ACV&Me” option.

  17. ACV&Me Settings By default each Agency profile has Status set to “activated”. This means that your agency may collect Aeroplan Miles for bookings. By default each Agency profile is set to allow each agent to collect their own Miles. Only the Administrator Log-on can change these options. To change either of these options click on the “Update” button.

  18. Changing the Settings Uncheck the Activate box to prohibit Aeroplan collection from any log-on. Click on who can collect the Miles. If you choose Agency as the collection point, you must enter the Agency’s Aeroplan number. Any bookings claimed under any Child log-on will now automatically have it's Miles transferred to this Aeroplan Number. Click on the “Update” button to accept the changes and you are done!

  19. it's as easy as that! There are many more functions under the Administrator log-on which we talk about in other training modules. Hint: For security reasons, we strongly recommend that a profile be created for each agent in your office.

  20. The Agent’s Log-on. Each agent should have their own unique log-on. it's quick and easy to create, and gives you powerful tools to make your job easier. Let’s look at ACV&Me functions under the Agent’s Log-on

  21. Agents: Let’s get started. First you need to log on. Hint: You can get more information on profiles in our “Profiles” training module. Your log-on is: Username: Your e-mail address, but not the Agency’s e-doc e-mail address Password: The password that you selected. You can change you password as many times as you like right in your profile, and remember that it is case sensitive! If you do not have an Agent (or child) profile, please ask your Administrator to create one for you.

  22. First Log on. Go to www.aircanadavacations.com Click on the “Log in” link at the top right hand side of the screen.

  23. First Log on. You can go right to this screen at www.aircanadavacations.com/agents Enter your username and password. Hint:If you do not know your password or need to have it reset, please click the “forgot your password” link to have it reset for you.

  24. The Agent (or Child) Log-on main screen. Look at the options under the “Your Account” Header on the left hand side of the screen Select the “ACV&Me” option.

  25. Let’s Get Registered. If you already have an Aeroplan number enter it and hit the “Register” key. If you do not have an Aeroplan number, click on the link below the “Register” key, to go to our Aeroplan Site and register to become an Aeroplan member. Enrollment is instantaneous. Make a note of your membership number and enter it here when you are done. Hit the “Register” key when you are done.

  26. The Confirmation Screen. This message means that you have successfully signed up for the ACV&Me program! If you get this error message it means that your Aeroplan number is being used to collect ACV&Me points by another user log-in or the number entered is not valid. Hint: it's only a warning message. If the number is valid, the Miles you earn will accumulate under this Aeroplan number. If the number is invalid no Miles will accumulate.

  27. How Do I Claim My Bookings? Go to the ACV&Me screen by clicking on the ACV&Me link. You can claim a booking by clicking “Enter booking numbers” ”above the list. Hint: You only have to register your Aeroplan number once. Your profile will remember your settings for you.

  28. How Do I Claim My Bookings? Type one booking number per box. If you have more than five booking numbers to record, click on ‘Add more rows’ When all your booking numbers have been entered, click ‘Submit’ Hint: You can see all of your bookings entered to date by clicking on the “View” link.

  29. How do I Collect Aeroplan Miles for Netair Bookings? • To collect Aeroplan Miles on a Netair booking, you need to send an email to netairops@vacv.com • Make sure to include the following information: • Your valid Aeroplan number • Your Netair confirmation number • Agency name • Agency phone number • You earn 50 miles for every passenger booked on Netair.

  30. And We Are Done! • All new bookings made from December 1, 2008 onwards qualify. • Aeroplan Miles are awarded at the end of every month and after travel has been completed. • If you forget to report your booking prior to departure please do enter your booking in the profile as soon as you have the informaition. • Remember that you have 6 months after departure to claim your Miles and each booking can only be claimed once. • If you have any questions on the ACV&Me program • please contact your Area Sales Manager or Inside Sales at (877)752-9910 or e-mail us at sales@vacv.com
