  2. Integers • A whole number; a number that is not a fraction.

  3. rational number • An integer or a fraction.

  4. Scientific Notation • Scientific notation, also known as standard form or as exponential notation, is a way of writing numbers that accommodates values too.

  5. Perfect Square • The product of a rational number multiplied by itself.

  6. Irrational Number • A real number that cannot be expressed as a rational number.

  7. Real Numbers • Any rational or irrational number.

  8. Density Property • Betweentwo rational numbers on a number line there is another rational number.

  9. Adjacent Angles • In geometry, adjacent angles, often shortened as adj. ∠s, are angles that have a common ray coming out of the vertex going between twonumbers.

  10. Coefficient • A numerical or constant quantity placed before and multiplying the variable in an algebraic expression.

  11. Distance Formula • POs touching, FOs away, DH arcs upwards and lands some distance from the NDH + F-LAW.

  12. Domain • The mathematical concept of a function expresses the intuitive idea that one quantity.

  13. Hypotenuse • The longest side of a right triangle, opposite the right angle.

  14. Legs of a right Triangle • The sides adjacent to the right angle.

  15. Rational Number • An integer or a fraction.

  16. Range • The area of variation between upper and lower limits on a particular scale.

  17. Slope • Be inclined from a horizontal or vertical line; slant up or down.

  18. Scientific Notation • Scientific notation, also known as standard form or as exponential notation, is a way of writing numbers that accommodates values too.

  19. Prism • A solid geometric figure whose two end faces are similar, equal, and parallel rectilinear figures, and whose sides are parallelograms.

  20. Scatter plot • A scatter plot or scattergraph is a type of mathematical diagram using Cartesian coordinates to display values for two variables.

  21. Slope intercept form • A linear equation is an algebraic equation in which each term is either a constant or the product of a constant.
