  3. Technology Standards • I plan to use the National Educational Technology Standards (NETS) and Kansas State Department of Education (KSDE) Standards to help plan classroom content and technology integration

  4. Teacher Resources • Teacher Wiki for a simple webpage • Beginning of the year bloug • Blogs for different units of learning • Microsoft Publisher to help make weekly newsletters, awards, and fliers

  5. Student Resrource • Kan-ed’sNetTrekker for student research • Wikis for student portfolios

  6. Interactive Tech Tools • Interactive whiteboard • Digital cameras • Student clickers

  9. Standards • The two types of standards were mentioned, but the presenter did not elaborate on HOW the standards would be used in her classroom RUBRIC CATEGORY: NEEDS IMPROVEMENT

Creativity and Originality • PowerPoint was used---not very creative • The same picture was repeated throughout the presentation • The presenter basically read from the PowerPoint—not much elaboration • There were no animations, transitions, etc. in the PowerPoint RUBRIC CATEGORY: NEEDS IMPROVEMENT

  11. Spelling and Proofing • There were a couple noticeable spelling errors---use spell check! RUBRIC CATEGORY: GOOD

  12. ORGANIZATION • There was a clear introduction and middle • Conclusion could use some work • Had a fairly logical sequence RUBRIC CATEGORY: GOOD

  13. Content • A few current tech trends were discussed—could be more • Not much discussion on HOW the tech tools would be used in the classroom RUBRIC CATEGORY: NEEDS IMPROVEMENT
