EOSDIS Customer Satisfaction Survey EOSDIS sponsors an annual independent customer survey The American Customer Satisfaction Index (ACSI) has been the standard metric for measuring citizen satisfaction EOSDIS consistently exceeds the Federal Government average Ratings in the mid to upper 70s are considered “very good” by the rating organization, the ACSI LLC, and Federal Consulting Group 2010 Survey results based on 4380 responses (7%) GES DISC score was 80 (+/- 2.2) based on 115 responses (5%)

ESDIS Initiatives: Next Steps • Enhance the Near Real Time Processing System (LANCE) • Reverb, an upgrade to the WIST general purpose search and order web interface across all the DAACs • Metadata for 89 million granules; 3,100 Collections • A coherent web presence • The DAACs more clearly represented as cooperating elements of a system • A uniform user registration system
