TEN TIPS FOR FACILITATORS FOR EFFECTIVE TDM MEETINGSHandout 10-24 • Start on time. • Have the right people invited/ attending. • Be sure that everyone understands the meeting’s purpose. • Adhere to timeframes AND take whatever time is needed to make a quality decision. • Conduct the group’s business in front of the group. • Deal with interpersonal business. • List strengths, concerns and/or ideas. • Check regularly on the group’s process. • Can the group reach a consensus decision? 10. Review the decision and action plan with the group.
