  1. “310 people killed in latest Boko Haram attack while hundreds of girls remain missing”

  2. Abuja, Nigeria -- As the world fumes over Boko Haram's kidnapping of hundreds of girls, the terror group's latest attack in northern Nigeria has left 310 people dead. The world still doesn't know what happened to the 276 girls kidnapped almost a month ago. Now, the militants may be going after those trying to find the girls. The latest attack took place in the town of Gamboru Ngala. Troops had been using the area as a base in the search. The U.S., British and Chinese have already offered assistance in finding the girls. It's unclear what impact the latest attack could have on other international response to Nigeria's fight with Boko Haram. This latest attack witnesses described a well-coordinated attack that began shortly after 1:30 p.m. Monday at a busy outdoor market. Wearing military uniforms, the militants arrived with three armored personnel carriers. They shouted "Allahu Akbar" -- "God is great" -- and opened up on the market, firing rocket-propelled grenades and tossing improvised explosive devices.

And with the 2014 iteration commencing on Thursday night, it's time to review the candidates and odds for the No. 1 overall pick. There have been numerous hits and misses throughout the years on the draft's top pick. For every Peyton Manning (1998) that authors a Hall of Fame career, there's a JaMarcus Russell that crashes out of the league (2007). Its been one year since three missing women were found in a Cleveland, Ohio home. A year after her rescue, Michelle Knight says she understands why her captor and rapist killed himself in prison. "He didn't want what he did to us to happen to him." We've all encountered that panicked moment when we're away from a power outlet and our cell phone is running out of juice. And everyone knows the sad moment when we realize that our battery only lasts half as long as it used to a year ago. But how much of this is our fault, and how much is the fault of the device? And what can you do about it? Here's what you need to know. http://money.cnn.com/2014/05/07/technology/mobile/cell-phone-battery-life/index.html?hpt=hp_t3
