  1. Psychology of Attraction By Anna Ung 10A

  2. Physical Attraction Depending on the way somebody looks, is always something that people look at when looking out for a potential partner. This usually tends to happen with younger people because as you get older, you find out that nobody is perfect.

  3. Proximity The closer you live to another person, it usually seems like the closer you get or like them. In a way, by living closer, you would feel more trust towards them. There is a lesson – ‘love thy neighbour’, meaning to accept the people close and around you.

  4. Familiarity Getting to know a person is usually one of the first steps to getting into a relationship because many of us would know ‘love-at-first-sight’ only happens in fairytales. If you don’t know them that well, how can you know that you can trust them, or even love them?

  5. Similarity The similarities (a.k.a. Things you have in common) is often a key aspect of a relationship; you could say that it is one of the key features that holds a relationship together. People often get frustrated withdifferences, which usually is the reason of an ending of a relationship.

  6. Flirting • How do people flirt?Different people have different ways of flirting, it could depend of your age, gender, culture, family-siblings influence, etc. A lot of people (both males and females) tend to take advantage of their body and use their features to flirt, whether if it’s flexing muscles, showing off their flesh, using eye contact, making (seductive) gestures, etc. • Why do people flirt? The main objective of flirting is to attract someone and to see if they react back, otherwise, if not, to muck around (which is pretty mean, but occurs a lot). • Where does this happen?Flirting can happen anywhere at any time, whether if it’s raining, sunny, at the park, on the bus, at school – anywhere!
