  2. 26th National Hispanic Women’s Corporation Professional Development & Leadership Institutes • The Hispanic Women's Corporation (HWC) in cooperation with Arizona State University, the University of Arizona, Maricopa Community College District, Pima Community College District and its corporate and community partners awarded over $328,000 to fifty-two (52) deserving Latina scholars. • Nine (9) Medical Scholars – M.D. • One (1) Doctoral Degree Scholar – Ph.D. • Six (6) Masters in Public Health Scholars – M.P.H. • Twenty-six (26) Bachelor of Arts & Science Scholars – B.A. & B.S. • Ten (10) High School students receiving a head start on college acquiring • twelve credit hours
