Down Syndrome • What is Down Syndrome? • Occurs when an individual has three, rather than two, copies of the 21st chromosome • It is the most commonly occurring chromosomal condition… affects 1 out of every 691 babies born and more than 400,000 Americans • Can cause increased risk of heart defects, Alzheimer’s disease, and childhood leukemia • Common physical traits are small stature and low muscle tone… exercise is important www.ndss.org

Product Objectives • Create a custom software that can be used to track personal fitness results • The software will visually and audibly motivate an individual to do their best • The software will keep track of results for 2 months and display them in a chart format • Create a custom keyboard that will help individual to enter their own data and allow them to see their progress at any point in time
