  1. Dylan BollingerHarlem High School Dylan Bollinger fell in love with the theatre when he was a student, and it is a love that has never let up. He went on to receive his Bachelor's degree in Theatre Education from Columbus State University in the Spring of 2012, and is currently working toward his Masters degree in Theatre Education, also from Columbus State. He anticipates receiving that graduate degree in the summer of 2015. In the fall of 2012, three month after receiving his undergraduate degree, Dylan Bollinger began teaching theatre at Harlem High School in Augusta, Georgia. His duties included teaching theatre classes from students in the ninth through twelfth grades.

  2. Dylan BollingerTheatrical Lighting Dylan Bollinger is a freelance designer and stage manager who is currently living in Augusta, Georgia, where he has been teaching theatre to high school students since the fall of 2012. The dramatic arts are his great passion, and he is working toward his Masters degree in Theatre Education, and expects to receive it in the summer of 2015. He already holds a Bachelor's degree in Theatre Education from Columbus State University, and has been associated with many productions during his career. "I would love to be able to work full time as a lighting designer and stage manager in order to support myself, and earn a living,"

  3. Dylan BollingerBeing A Mentor Dylan Bollinger began teaching Theatre at Harlem High School in Harlem, Georgia in the fall of 2012, several months after receiving his degree in Theatre Education from Columbus State University. During that time he has expanded the program from three to six classes, directed a series of plays, and been a positive influence on the lives of many of his students. Educators such as Dylan Bollinger have known for years that personalizing education by mentoring students can be an important and positive influence on them, helping them to improve their achievements. This is especially true for those students who enter high school without a solid academic foundation or who have yet to find a direction in life. Mentoring provides an alternative for young people whose parents may not be able to fulfill such a role, and can serve as an additional resource for those who may be at risk for falling into detrimental behavior.

  4. Dylan BollingerSaving A Life In 2010 Dylan Bollinger had occasion to perform lifesaving CPR on a five-year-old boy. The procedure is done when someone's breathing and heartbeat has stopped, and involves rescue breathing and chest compressions, which can keep the person's blood circulating. It is only done as an emergency measure and is best left to someone who is trained in the techniques, although in an urgent situation when no one else is around, it is better to try something.
