  4. ANY Program Monitoring & Interventions • (Oct 1, 2010-Oct 1, 2011) • Complaints and Due Process Hearing Decisions • (July 1, 2010-June 30, 2011)

  5. Appeals Process • Check your data on Determination Element #1: • Some LEAs were given a point, but their data was 95% or above • If this is incorrect on your profile contact the TEA Division of Federal and State Education Policy at 512.463.9414 • For formal appeals process, an LEA rated Needs Intervention or Needs Substantial Intervention may appeal within 30 calendar day of the date of the Notification Letter

  6. How do I handle the Enforcement Actions??!? • All enforcement actions are already addressed through a Continuous Improvement Plan OR Corrective Action Plan • Review these plans for accuracy and you are DONE! • NO FURTHER ACTION IS REQUIRED!!!!!!

  7. Additional Considerations • May impact consideration for High Cost Funds • LEA with a Determination rating of “Meets Requirements” may be eligible to voluntarily reduce maintenance of effort.
