Net Guru Inc. • Mr. Amrit Das originally founded Net Guru, Inc. as Research Engineers International in 1981 (REI). • REI was the first company to invent STAAD, PC based civil engineering software for structural design and analysis for the A/E/C (Architectural/Engineering/Construction) market. • The genius of STAAD lies in the ease of use and practical features that encompass the engineering process, making engineers’ jobs easier. • In March of 2000 the company name officially changed to Net Guru, Inc. (NGRU) to better reflect the current business offerings.
