  3. Laboratory Use Must meet these conditions: A Division of DCBS • Laboratory Scale • Multiple chemicals/procedures • Not production or simulate production • Protective practices and equipment used

  4. Outside Scope General Industry Rules apply for: A Division of DCBS • Chemicals for maintenance of lab • Production of chemical for sale • Any quantity • Quality control • “dip and read” tests

  5. “Laboratory scale” A Division of DCBS • Designed to be handled by one person

  6. Chemical Hygiene Plan Written Plan Must specify: A Division of DCBS • Training • Work Practices • Controls/PPE • Medical Surveillance • Special Precautions
