    3. Clippa Systems has been operating very successfully for the past 14 years in Kwa Zulu Natal. 2004 resulted in 3 branches turning over just under R10 million. Following on the success of our existing branches we envisage setting up further Agencies based on the same tried and tested principles. The Agency would be made up of two separate sections. Namely RETAIL and INSTALLATION.

    4. Retail Section The Retail section of the business is the simplest and least expensive of the sections to set up and organize. A Showroom and Office of approx 100square meters would be necessary. A selection of the various popular modules that we manufacture in the different colors must be displayed in the Showroom as well as samples of Worktop colors, Handle selections etc. A computer loaded with a 3D graphics design program is supplied with the package and enables the Salespersons to show various designs to the clients. Training for this package will be provided. A receptionist/bookkeeper and a Salesperson are all that are initially required in the Retail Section. All desks, filing cupboards etc and the Showroom modules can be manufactured by the Factory. This cost is included in the sale price. A selection of the Stationery, Order Books etc will be supplied by Clippa Systems as part of the package so that everything remains standard and also to provide material to initially begin operating with.

    5. Retail Section Our computer kitting program, gives the Factory a detailed Cutting and Kitting list for every unit that we manufacture. This is done via a MRP (Materials Requirement Planner) report which is generated by entering all the modules needed for a particular job into the program. We mainly manufacture in Cream and White melamine board. This is done to reduce the amount of wastage which obviously also helps us keep our prices as competitive as they are. A wide range of different color Supawood wrapped doors are also available. Kitting of the fittings for the jobs is done once the cutting and checking of the job is completed. Once again the same MRP report is used to do the kitting.
