  3. Who is Team 5275? • An ambitious rookie team of 7 high school students • Coaches, mentors, and volunteers

  4. Our Goal • Build a robot as well as a team while learning what FIRST stands for and supports • Work together, struggle together, learn together, and succeed together

  7. Who Benefited? • Students have learned new skills, had new experiences, and honed old skills • Those who supported us were provided recognition by having their name or logo placed on our banner, T-Shirts, and robot

  8. What Did Students Gain? • Knowledge of the future of robotics • Learn from professional engineers, mentors, and coaches • Build and compete with a robot of our own design • Learn and use sophisticated software and hardware • Compete and cooperate in alliances and tournaments • Qualify for a variety of college scholarships

What We Plan for Next Year • Grow as a team and in number of team members • Build a robot that will compete in next year’s FRC competition while helping another rookie team - or any other team • Attempt outreach projects to inform the public about STEM, FIRST , and the New Prague Robotics team
