  3. Objectives • An international co-laboratory that will eventually be the data site for all quantitative history of prices, wages, and incomes. • Links to the post-1950 Penn World Tables • New historical interpretations

  4. First big task • Conversion of the world’s pre-metric measurements into metric

  5. A new interpretation already achieved this year • New findings on real incomes in East Asia, 18th-early 20th centuries

  6. New primary data sources • New archival discoveries in Beijing
