  1. Weekly Newsletter Term 3 Week 6 Prep 2 Friday 25th May UOW – Flowers and Insects This week we have looked at the interdependence between the insect and plant or flower. The children know that the flower needs the insect to pass the pollen on to other flowers so that the flower can develop seeds. The children have continued to work on their PowerPoint projectand are enjoying catching, exploring and finding more interesting facts about insects and flowers. Celebration of Learning It was another successful Celebration of Learning in Prep 2 on Wednesday morning. Many parents commented on the difference of writing from when they began Prep 2 to how their writing looks now. Art In Mrs Agar’s Art class the children sketched a ‘still life’ and then painted their sketch with water colours. • Reminders • Tuesday 5th June - Prep Sports Day 8.20 to 10.20 (more details to follow). • Friday 8th June - Flower & Insects Exit Point will be on. Please see the e-mail letter from the office regarding more information. If you are struggling to find green or black for your child to wear, they can wear all green. • Friday 15thJune – Final day of school year. Enjoy your weekend! From the Prep 2 Team
