  2. Biography: • He was born in 1959 in Vrbas • Has a degree in economics. • Graduated from the Faculty of Economics, the University of Novi Sad • Implementation of an information system at the Vrbas sugar factory.

  3. Professional career - beginning • As a student, he started working in the public sector • He started as a supplier of raw materials for the sugar factory in Vrbas. • In 1983 he began a private business .

  4. Professional career - nowadays • In the past: 15 employees, • Today: around 4000 employees in 35 companies • Companies in Serbia and the Ukraine • Annual turnover of over 500 million EUR • The largest part of MK Group’s operations pertain to sugar industry, agricultural manufacturing, industry and trade of agricultural products

  5. Other projects • 2006 - apartment complex in Kopaonik • In 2009 - MK Mountain Resort • MK Fintel Wind - “green” electrical energy • In mid November 2011, a company Carnex, became part of MK Group.

  6. Humanitarian work • MK Group has donated around 220,000 EUR for SOS Dečije selo (Children’s village) in Kraljevo • MK Group provides a free winter vacation to 30 of the best elementary school students from Kosovo • 2012 special awards are Order “Company Hero” for donating funds to charity the “Battle for Babies”
