  3. Ecosystem • An ecosystem is a geographical area of a variable size where plants, animals, the landscape and the climate all interact together. • Use this general definition to describe the types of plants, animal, landscape, and climate that make up each ecosystem.

  4. Types of Ecosystems • Tropical rainforest • Subtropical savannas • Deserts and semi-deserts - Salt Dessert Shrub • Oceans • Temperate grasslands • Temperate forests • Coniferous forests • Alpine and polar regions
