School Mission “We will conduct research of a high international standard that impacts theory and practice; deliver a high quality international learning experience at Postgraduate, Undergraduate, and Executive levels; and create an active forum that unites academics and practitioners in debate and knowledge exchange. To do so, we will focus on helping organisations to address the challenges they face, supporting this objective by researching and teaching across a full-range of business disciplines, dedicated research centres, and cross-cutting themes.”

Key features of QA in the School • University level Q&A addition: • Programme/course creation and approval • Annual QA monitoring • Institution-led quality reviews • Student participation in quality assurance • External Examiners • External accreditation by Professional, Statutory and Regulatory Bodies (PSRBs) • In addition: • Internal Moderation • Annual Programme Reviews • Assurance of Learning • Going forward also: • Annual Reviews of Teaching, on a Subject Group level • A key priority: “Closing the loop”

Who is involved? • Everybody! • Students via their feedback, their role as student representatives in various committees and their engagement in nominating for various awards. • Support Staff through supporting the process, engaging in process improvements and passing on informal feedback and own concerns/observations. • Faculty through their involvement in course design/redesign, responding to course feedback and in various committees. • External Examiners through monitoring of standards. • School Quality & Accreditations Team: • Director (1fte) • Manager (0.5fte) • Administrator (1fte)
