  7. Challenger • One who seeks change – Anne Hutchinson- challenged Puritan leaders

  8. Governor • A position of political power – Peter Stuyvesant was the Governor of New Netherland

  9. Proprietary colony • A colony owned by a person -Duke of York - proprietor of New Netherland - renames it New York.
