  2. Hessdalen ligger ca. 35 km nord-nord-vest for Røros. Dalen har en fjellkjede i vest og en i øst. Det er mye mineraler i området.

  3. Kanten av fjellet Stordalshogda Det ukjente fenomenet kan lyse i timevis. Hessdalsfenomenet Hessdalen 25.September 1982, 19.30: Fenomenet stod stille i flere minutter. Plutselig beveget det seg et par hundre meter, stopped opp, og startet bevegelsen igjen. Det fortsatte slik i nesten to timer.

  5. ”Lyset forsvant da bildet ble tatt” (under eksponeringstiden) Fotografen fikk med med seg hvordan lysfenomenet forsvant.

  6. Fenomenet kan bevege seg raskt: Eksponeringstid: 1/60 second =>100,000 km/h +

  7. Fenomenet opptrer under alle værforhold. Hessdalen 12.Februar 1983, 17.53 : Fenomenet kom ut av tåken, beveget seg sakte mot fotografen, fulgte dalføret. Total observasjonstid var 5 minutter.

  10. Science Camp • Elever og lærerne er i Hessdalen en uke. • De har med seg instrumenter og kamera, og overnatter i telt på fjellet (i september). • Fenomenet kan dukke opp når som helst. • Spennende, - og praktisk bruk av matte og fysikk. • PC og instrumenter brukes for å ta målinger.
