  4. How long of a journey? “It is eleven days’ journey from Horeb by the way of Mount Seir to Kadesh-barnea” Deuteronomy 1:2.

  7. Miriam the Prophetess • Elder sister of Moses by 7 years and Aaron by 4 years, and the only daughter of Amram and Jochebed.  • The wife of Hur (Josephus, Antiquities; Exodus 17:12). • Died @ the age of 126 (Numbers 20:1-2).

  8. “Now the man Moses was very humble, more than any man who was on the face of the earth”Numbers 12:3. • Moses wrote it. • A scribe wrote it. • There is a similar word: ענו עני “humble” πραύς “oppressed” πραύς

You have neither heard His voice at any time nor seen His form” John 5:37. • “He who is the blessed and only Sovereign, the King of kings and Lord of lords, who alone possesses immortality and dwells in unapproachable light, whom no man has seen or can see. To Him be honor and eternal dominion! Amen” 1 Timothy 6:15-16.

Isaiah saw Christ . . . • “In the year of King Uzziah’s death I saw the Lord sitting on a throne, lofty and exalted, with the train of His robe filling the temple” Isaiah 6:1. • “These things Isaiah said because he saw His glory, and he spoke of Him” John 12:41. -------------- • “And whenever he came out and spoke to the sons of Israel what he had been commanded, • the sons of Israel would see the face of Moses, that the skin of Moses’ face shone. So Moses would replace the veil over his face until he went in to speak with Him” Exodus 34:34-35.
