CANFEST Overview The original international canned beer festival; home of the largest gathering of strictly canned beer in the world! 2013 marks the 5th year of CANFEST CANFEST showcases dozens of breweries from every corner of the globe, bringing the deliciousness of canned beer to the masses

CANFEST Overview The Fifth Annual CANFEST will take place on August 24, 2013 inside the Peppermill Resort & Casino and is presented by Mammoth Brewing Company CANFEST benefits local non-profit, The Reno Bike Project, a 501(c)(3) non-profit community bicycle shop and advocacy group committed to creating a nationally recognized, cycling-friendly community through advocacy, education, and cooperation in the Truckee Meadows. CANFEST receives a large amount of marketing and PR attention, including numerous TV, print, and online coverage in the local markets, as well as a heavy emphasis on regional outlets and industry publications

CANFEST Demographics Attendance • 2011: 1,600 • 2012: 2,300 • Projected 2013: 3000 Demographic Ages: • 45-54 (38%) • 35-44 (27%) • 55-64 (16%) • 25-34 (14%) • 65+ (5%) • Gender: Male Dominant • This is the only beer event the Peppermill will host this year, and it will specifically target a new audience- this will include 700+ Peppermill VIP Guests. • With the date change this year we are planning to target the Burning man crowd and the students of UNR on summer vacation.

  4. Attendee Tracking Purpose: Geography of Impressions Results: • Zip codes and email addresses gathered by hotel rooms numbers from previous years via Ticketmaster sales. Numbers are also gathered from Survey Monkey and CANFEST newsletters. • Sweepstakes promotion via survey. To enter, attendees are required to participate and answer basic questions • Social Media promotions created to track fan/attendee demogrpahics

Why Sponsor? • You will receive the benefits listed in the sponsorship deck • Your business will have the opportunity to be exposed to the demographic crowd of CANFEST , the local community, and regional residents • You will be utilizing Cause Marketing by supporting the non-profit The Reno Bike Project • You will have the chance to spread any promotional materials to brewers and VIPs in specified bags, and host a booth during CANFEST to reach the entire crowd • You will support the craft beer in cans movement and a great Reno event that works to brand the area as a destination for quirky and interesting happenings
