Wisdom walk. With a piece of tape, attach your symbol to a wall in the classroom where it can be easily seen. Get out your composition notebook. After the all symbols are displayed, walk around the room and view EVERY student’s symbol. NO TALKING IS ALLOWED AT THIS TIME!!!

Wisdom walk • With a piece of tape, attach your symbol to a wall in the classroom where it can be easily seen. • Get out your composition notebook. • After the all symbols are displayed, walk around the room and view EVERY student’s symbol. NO TALKING IS ALLOWED AT THIS TIME!!! • Take your time with each symbol. Observe the artwork and quote. Read the student’s paragraph on the other side. • In your composition notebook, write down the quote and comment or react to each symbol. How did the quote and symbol make you feel? Why does this matter? Why are these words so profound, and what do they reveal about humanity?
