  1. welcome Camp Zoneat Chesterbrook Academy 2011 Camp Schedule Camp Zone® offers fun-filled summer programs for children of all ages. Each week campers jump into action participating in exciting sports programs, exploring nature, becoming involved in performing and creative arts, playing a part in group activities and attending special events. All children from Toddler through School Age will enjoy a summer reading program, outdoor water play, theme related activities and projects all while participating in our Summer Bridges Academic program to ensure your child is ready for the next academic year. Our campers have the opportunity to expand their horizons during the summer, embarking on new adventures, and having fun! Our exceptional program and dedicated staff create an environment that forges lifelong friendships among our campers. We create a summer experience that is unforgettable! It all starts with our outstanding camp counselors. A camp is only as good as its staff, and we are extremely proud of ours. Talent, creativity, love of children, leadership and devotion make our camp counselors the heart and soul of the program. We take our camp programs seriously and begin our summer with intensive staff training and orientation. Camp Zone® counselors and specialists are doing exactly what they enjoy most: spending a summer inspiring campers to explore, reach for new heights, and expand their horizons. Camp Zone® gives you choices. Camp Zone® includes five days of activities, from 8:30am – 3:30 pm. You can also choose to add extended hours in the morning, afternoon or both at no additional cost! 3. Specialty Field Trip Excursions Dolphin’s Cove Waterpark/Stingray Bay Waterpark Enjoy swimming once a week as our campers explore Dolphin’s Cove in Carpentersville or Stingray Bay Waterpark in Huntley! Campers will experience the thrill of splashing around in the zero-depth pool, playing in the geysers and slides as well as the Sandy Beach areas. What a great way to stay cool this summer! Santa’s Village AzoosmentPark Campers will enjoy a day at an amusement park built just for them! They will ride the tilt-a-whirl, ferris wheel , hand cars, Santa’s slide and other Santa’s Village rides. They will also enjoy the petting zoo, exotic animal show and pony rides. Donley’s Wild West Town The excitement and charm of the Old West come alive at Donley's Wild West Town in Union, Illinois.  Here you can experience life in the style of the Wild West where gunslingers have showdowns, and a narrow gauge train whistles past the Blacksmith's Shop, Print Shop, Jail, Saloon and Sweet Phyllis Gold Mine. Lippold Park and Mini Golf The campers will enjoy a morning of mini golf on one of the two-18 hole miniature golf courses. We will also spend time checking out a portion of the 3+ miles of hiking trails through the restored wetlands as well as the playground and fitness area! Randall Oaks Park & Barnyard Zoo No summer camp would be complete without a trip to the ZOO. We will spend the morning visiting with the animals, have a picnic lunch then spend some time “monkey-ing” around the park! A tour of the historic Centerville School will be included. Crystal Lake Nature Center The campers will get to explore the Nature Center and participate in hands-on activities and a nature hike. We will round out the morning with a visit to the butterfly house and a picnic lunch!
