  1. Project Definition Visualizing the historic voice records of old politicians in Turkey throughMotionTypographyand Second Life.

  2. Project Details The project will be presented on Second Life as the Turkish Political History boulevard. On the boulevard, there will be fourdifferent walls that the videos are projected. Users will choose the period they want to watch.

  3. Project Details Four periods will be seperated as: Nutuk - Mustafa Kemal Atatürk Declaration of Military Coup – Alparslan Türkeş Speech before the sentence of death – Adnan Menderes Declaration of war – Bülent Ecevit

  4. Project Details There will be one main concept and four different ones that will be derived from the main concept. Every speech will have its own printed poster according to the concept.

  5. Project Details Other than SL the project will also have a printed brand guideline, website and a smart phone application.

  6. Background Information • Knowledge of Turkish Political History. • Visual world of every period. • Representative pictograms. • İmpact of video with voice over narrative and motion text.

  7. Goals • Improving the power of public memory. • Raising awareness for the issues that happened long time ago andforgotten by the society.

  8. Objectives • Triggering viewers two senses, sight and hearing at the same time. • Use of iconic elements that gives information about the semantics of the words that are in motion.

  9. Target Audience people who are not aware of the political evolution in Turkey. people that are aware,but intentionally or unconsciously choose to forget.

  10. Challenges Finding clean voice records Synchronizing the speech and text in the video Getting used to the way Second Life works
