Main problems d) the high concentration of surface waters in nutrients (NO3-N and PO4-P) due to the intensive agricultural practices, which in turn end up in Strymonikos Gulf leading to its eutrophication and e) the intrusion of the sea into Strymonas during irrigation period due to its low discharge THE GOULANDRIS NATURAL HISTORY MUSEUMGREEK BIOTOPE/WETLAND CENTRE LIFE Environment
