1937- 97% teachers had joined the National Socialist Teachers League and attended a course on Nazi ideology and physical education • Curriculum was changed, including more physical exercise, and Nazi ideas incorporated into subjects especially biology • Different sexes had different subjects eg girls did needlework • Higher education changed in less ways, in fact less people went into higher education • Lecturers were purged and students forced to join the Germans Students League Actions
