  1. Why Should Sellers Pay Attention To The Amazon Return Policy? If you are a seller on Amazon, you need to ensure that you know about the latest Amazon refunds and return policy. The main key thing here is that Amazon keeps changing the return policy from time to time and for you, it is important to know these changes to offer unparalleled and consistent services to your customers. What is Amazon returns? When you are a seller, in the times of Amazon returns case, the blame will fall on you as you might have shipped the wrong product or size of colour or another thing. Also, sometimes, there might be delivery issues or buyers fail to receive the order. The irony is- Amazon asks the sellers to accept returns even if the mistake is of the buyers. In this post, we will discuss a new Amazon return policy for FBA sellers. Stay tuned! Amazon refunds: how are they issued? In case of a buyer returns your product, the refund depends on three factors: 1. A condition in which he returned the product. 2. The duration for which the customer has kept the product with him. 3. How was the item bought? When a buyer decides to return the product, he can choose the refund method from options available to him. If Amazon refunds the buyer on the prepaid card and the card is not in the possession of the user, it can be still stored in his account. How to process a return request? For sellers, a return request can be managed by taking appropriate actions with the help of Manage Returns page which include: Authorize the request Close the request Issue a refund Contact the buyer Amazon return process for the FBA seller Have you thought about working on return requests immediately while paying Amazon FBA fees? Well, being an FBA seller, you need to act immediately when you get a return request or you will end up paying more money. If Amazon considers the returned items "Unfulfillable", you might have to pay some extra money. There are three possibilities here.

  2. 1. If the item was sold via amazon.com and if Amazon finds the item in a good condition and saleable, the item will go into inventory and it will be marked as "Fulfillable". Also, you will get a part of the referral fee in your account, along with the Variable Closing fees associated with it. 2. If the item is damaged and unsellable and Amazon takes the responsibility of the item, then it will not be added into the inventory. Here, Amazon will add the sum of the item's selling price, part of the referral fee and applicable taxes in your account. 3. If the item is damaged and unsellable and Amazon does not take the responsibility for that, the item will be added in your inventory and will be marked as "Unfulfillable". Here, your account will be credited with all or a part of the referral fees and variable closing fees if applicable. Conclusion: Amazon takes great care when it comes to the return policy.
