Donovan Dodge Chrysler Jeep Mazda Demonstrations of Good Practices Customer Service: • Purchased and installed software system that reminds sales and service personnel to follow-up with clientele and employees can maintain good relationships with customers via letters, personnel calls, and birthday reminders. • Maintain one of the highest Daimler Chrysler Customer Satisfaction indexes in our Business Center a rolling 12 months • Give customers as a “thank you” a two year personalized calendar featuring them and their new vehicle. Here is a few survey comments from our customers: • “We had a great experience and everyone who helped us at Donovan Dodge. You have customers for life.” • “Awesome staff, we will be back to do business.” • Calendar idea: “Great! Love it! Just a reminder of what courteous service you got!” • “Nice calendar. Thanks for the personal attention.”

  3. Employee Morale: • Distribute a monthly employee newsletter where each department can recognize great work of their staff as well as that of other departments. Newsletter also highlights a “spotlight employee of the month” randomly chosen by management. • Birthday cards and a gift certificate are given to each employee on their special day • Host a summer company picnic for employees and their families featuring games and prizes and best of all – a water balloon fight! • Hosts a yearly company Christmas party that includes food, drink, and prizes • Mr. Donovan invites all employees who have served our nation, to the Annual “Bring a Vet to Lunch in November. On average, Mr. Donovan buys lunch for 10-12 of our veteran employees. Good Place to Work: • Donovan Dodge is a wonderful place to work as demonstrated by the many long term employees here. At least 7 employees have worked for Donovan Dodge for more than 5 years and 8 employees that have been with the company for well over 15 years, including Mr. Donovan. • The owners and management strive to provide a positive, comfortable, and relaxed atmosphere. It is the personal touches such as flowers for the ladies on Valentine’s Day, lunch provided every Saturday to all working employees and the generosity to all staff Mr. Donovan exemplifies that make it a great place to work.

He’s always willing to give people a second chance and considers everyone a member of the Donovan family. Corporate Citizen: • Mr. Donovan prides himself on community involvement • Mr. Donovan has been an active chamber member since 1984, served on the chamber board of directors 1993-1996, member of the Huachucans, served on the University of Arizona Foundation board, active member of the Better Business Bureau, Air Force Association, AUSA, supporter of the University of Arizona and Cochise College athletic programs, and is one of the premier sponsors for the Fort Huachuca Rodeo. • Currently, Mr. Donovan is sponsoring an employee through the Chamber Leadership Program and has employed a Customer Relations Manager to assist in representing the dealership at public events Community Support & Involvement: • Donovan Dodge and Mr. Donovan have been actively involved as supporters and behind the scenes of many activities in the community for over 26 years, including:

The Chamber Military Affairs Committee as award sponsors and have had representation monthly and supply awards for the Annual Military Awards Banquet. • Support the Relay for Life as a Silver Sponsor, including a team. The entire Donovan family and many employees participate and walk during the event. • Active supporters of the United Way Campaign, the Nomaden Motorcycle Club Christmas in July ride, sponsor vehicles for hole in one contests to multiple golf tournaments, support Rotary International activities on a local level, supply vehicles for multiple parades, key organizer for the annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade, supply courtesy vehicles annual to various University of Arizona representatives, and are the major sponsor of the VICA and Buena High School Annual Car Show. • Hold food drives for the local food bank, toy drives for Christmas events, donate and decorate a tree for the Sierra Vista Hospital Foundation “Festival of Trees,” actively sponsor youth sports programs for over 20 years, and a long standing supporter of 4H programs at the county level. • Match the funds raised for Huachuca Mountain Elementary School with the “Dodge Drive for the Kids” event. • In 2006, Donovan Dodge donated a variety of computers, monitors, and printers to the Colors of Success to assist in computer education. • In 2007, Donovan Dodge at the request of a PPEP TEC High School spoke to the students on the basics of automotive purchase, the importance of good credit, and how to establish and maintain a good credit score. • Most recently we have partnered with an organization and Daimler Chrysler to promote an anti-street racing campaign. One of the major fundraisers (a raffle) to purchase “track time” for the program is courtesy of a truck donated by Donovan Dodge valued over $50,000. We are currently working on additional events to continue to bring awareness of this campaign to Sierra Vista in the coming year.
