  1. A Life Well Lived (?)

  2. “Genie, you’re free”TheAcademy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences via Twitter "I find that message troubling. Its immediate simplicity belies extraordinary scope for misinterpretation and misrepresentation. ... Suicide is not freedom. It's a cry for help that always comes too late.” -- Holly Thomas

  3. What makes for a well lived life? • God is the Judge. (Act 17:31 ; 2 Timothy 4:1) • The gospel is the standard. (Romans 2:16) • The judgment we want to hear is, “Well done.” (Matthew 25:21; Hebrews 11:5)

  4. Is it appropriate to make any judgment about the life of another? • God’s word reveals that all have sinned and are in need of salvation. (Rom. 3:23) • We can tell whether or not a soul needs saving (1 John 3:10; Acts 2:40; James 5:20; Jude 22-23)

  5. What would you say to a lost celebrity? • What would you say about God’s remedy for depression? (Proverbs 31:6; 12:25; 27:9; Psalm 94:19; 32:3-5; Philippians 4:6) • What would you say about the need for repentance toward God and faith in Christ? (Acts 20:20-21)

  6. Who has made the real difference in your life? • If our hearts are right we will hate evil and love good. (Amos 5:15) • We will not praise vulgarity, filthy talk, coarse jesting, sexual immorality, etc. (Ephesians 5:3-5) • We will appreciate good (Acts 17:28; Titus 1:12; 2 Samuel 1:17-27; Isaiah 5:20; Prov. 28:4) • It is not the world, but Christ who must be THE life-changing influence in our lives. (Colossians 2:6-10)
