  1. 【BACKGROUND】 China GDP has maintained a constant growth of more than 8% for decades, driving up chemicals market consumption. Regarding acrylic acid, its downstream applications continue to expand, especially for polymer-grade acrylic, representative of super absorbent polymer (SAP). Polymer-grade acrylic is the major driving force for acrylic acid industry with the annual apparent consumption growth of 9.29% from 2007. Can SAP industry continue to maintain a rapid growth in the future? And is it still the most effective driving force for the progress of acrylic acid industry? With the number of domestic SAP manufacturers increasing with rapid capacity expansion, how do we practice national brand development under the market dominated by Japan brand?
